Ketamine infusion therapy is a new treatment available for a variety of psychiatric, addiction, and pain medicine conditions that have failed to respond to a combination of psychotherapy and psychiatric medications.
This office-based treatment is an important alternative to other options such as Electro-Convulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
This treatment is offered at West Psychiatry either as an intravenous infusion or a series of intramuscular injections. The typical treatment course is twice per week for 2-4 weeks.
